Gli "Altri Martiri" del Ponte della Pietà a Quarona.

return today in Biella, more or less always the sad 1944. Near Quarona c 'is a bridge that is now in those days is called " Ponte della Pietà." But pity the 'is dead, says a partisan song. And yet today, on that bridge, while there is a memorial tablet in five partisans hanged on August 4 of that 'year after' killing of two soldiers of CSR.
Rifugiandosi subito sui monti, come d' abitudine. Fortunate were those who died immediately, lightning, while the vehicle caught fire. The survivors went down completely stunned by electric shock. From the bridge a barrage of bullets struck them like bowling pins. Who was still breathing was bayoneted finished. Miraculously survived a heroic veteran of the Regiment of Young Fascists Bir El Gobi, the Lieutenant Gemstones , albeit with a crushed eye. That perish after the war in a concentration camp near Modena by a U.S. military while trying to escape.
